After a longer delay than I expected, the forums are now back and running under a new form : the phpBB forums. I really hope you will appreciate the changes. :)

I see you manage to get this issue over (on the other thread). Indeed the current public version is buggy and the skins available on the main site aren't up-to-date. :/.
But there is some great news: I'm currently working on a new major version with several ...

Now the simpliest way is to use Resource Hacker of an existing skin in order to replace icons of a skin.
I hope have the time to look further into this part of IconXT
